About the Role

The Cybersecurity Lead will be a key member of the IT team, responsible for maintaining a robust cybersecurity presence by providing continuous improvements to the Company’s cybersecurity program.

We are seeking a hardworking individual who is passionate about decarbonization and has a desire to play an active role in the transition to clean energy.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical liaison between the IT Security and OT organizational units to ensure production facilities, operations and systems are following security best practices
  • Lead cyber threat and security incident identification, protection, detection, response, and remediation activities impacting the manufacturing operations environment and escalating to management.
  • Define and ensure compliance with security policies, processes, and standards to build a comprehensive cybersecurity program while applying best practices and international cybersecurity standards (ISA / IEC 62443, 27001-2, and NIST)
  • Conducting cybersecurity and physical security vulnerability assessments to identify risks based on technology, organization, or operations
  • Report status on activities, issues, projects, etc. to senior staff / management, including the effectiveness and efficiency of security activities
  • Propose new standards, tools, policies, and procedures to improve security, compliance and risk management activities based on security operations findings, or security events or incidents Relationships (Internal / External Stakeholders)
  • Fostering close relationships with clients and actively seeking out business opportunities in cybersecurity and risk management

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of IT experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years in cybersecurity (Operational Technology experience a plus)
  • Hands on-management of security tools (e.g., Carbon Black, Cisco, M365 ATP, Defender, BitLocker, Azure Sentinel)
  • A collaborative team player that can adapt to changing project and client needs
  • Excellent communication skills; knows when to asks questions, seeks out help, and has strong technical writing capabilities
  • A versatile problem solver that seeks to exceed expectations
  • The ability to convey complex cybersecurity concepts in a clear and understandable manner to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in providing practical and technologically advanced solutions
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment which requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability
