SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Endpoint Services Administrator provides technical leadership, oversees, and maintains the desktop computing environment and associated endpoint management systems.
This includes leading ongoing operations, coordinating activities across IT Operations teams, establishing and implementing operational procedures and standards, and performing design and roadmap development based on technology lifecycles and changing business requirements.

Core Responsibilities
Design and Implementation
Analyze, design, and implement strategies for continuous deployment while ensuring high availability on systems.
Design, test and implement desktop operating system images, Windows application packages and task sequences.
Carry out technical research and development and proof of concept activities.
Develop, plan and implement patch management and application deployment strategies.
System Analysis and Enhancements
Lead the ongoing cycle of identification, testing, pilot and deployment of security and quality updates.
Participate in the research, design and implementation of desktop hardware, software and end-user peripheral technologies.
Assess the risk and business impact of technical change and work with stakeholders to mitigate.
Work with internal and external stakeholders, including software vendors, to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
Monitor key system performance metrics and trends, taking corrective action as necessary to ensure performant and reliable operation.
Administration
Develop and monitor the solutions and processes for supporting and monitoring hardware assets, including device lifecycle, acquisition, distribution and disposal of corporate assets.
Administer and maintain endpoint management systems such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (System Center Configuration Manager, Intune).
Lead and document the continuous development of standards and operating procedures, and review, audit, and follow-up to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Five (5) years’ experience working within an IT Operations team, specializing in endpoint management.
