Reporting to the Superintendent, the individual will be responsible to support the drilling, GeoExchange and geothermal installations on various projects.
What You'll Do Here :
- Demonstrate and promote safety.
- Prepare and clean up project drilling sites.
- Support Drillers / Installers with grouting operations and drilling operations.
- Drillers Helper (Roughbeck); all pertaining duties in association with drilling operations. Includes drill pipe handling and casing installation on dual rotary, single rotary and air drilling rigs.
- Cleaning and maintaining drilling equipment.
- Labourer Assist with Grouting and U bend installations; assist with the operation of grouter and tremie reel.
- Handle and distribute project materials (e.g., load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment, and construction materials;
move tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from work areas).
- Setup and maintain hose lines and water connections.
- Carry out manual labour duties such lifting and working with materials weighing up to 25kg.

What You Bring to The Team :
- Roughneck : Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrate and promote safety above all else.
- Capability to operate and maintain equipment.
- Experience working in a similar role within the industry.
- Capacity for manual dexterity with physical strength and stamina.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and effectively work on teams with a desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Energy to use stairs, ladders, and climb over rough terrain.
- Capability to work long hours per day in all weather conditions.
- Strong interpersonal, team participation and communication skills.
- Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
- Metatarsal guarded steel toed CSA rubber boots required.
- Required Tickets : MOL 4 Step Safety Awareness, Ontario Working at Heights, Valid Drivers License
- Preferred (but not required) Tickets : H2S Alive Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Earth loop technician Ground Disturbance Level II Skidsteer Certification Telehandler Certification
