We are seeking a highly motivated Recepetion / Admin Assistan for our Client in the public accounting sector. They are a Mid-size practice who prides themself on offering an interactive and friendly environment fostering teamwork, knowledge sharing, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate can perform assigned tasks independently and provide support to staff and clientele as and when required.

This is a full-Time permanent in office opportunity.

Location : North York

Hours : Monday- Friday 9 : 00am- 5 : 00pm

Salary : $40K-$41K

Must have knowedlge of Tax documents

Responsibilities

  • Back up support for reception- Answering and directing phone calls / faxes.
  • Arranging boardroom reservations & scheduling.
  • Preparing and cleaning meeting rooms.
  • Scanning documents and data entry of T1 tax forms.
  • Electonic and paper filing of documents
  • Greeting staff and clients.
  • Kitchen & general office cleanup : brewing coffee, wiping down tables, restocking refrigerator, etc.
  • Mail distribution and supply inventory.
  • Ordering / tracking / setting up daily dinners for our professional staff.
  • Order supplies for the office
  • Stamping of outgoing mail for mailbox drop-off.
  • Courier-related data entry and tracking.
  • Staff attendance log.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience as an Administrative assistant or relevant position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word- with strong Excel skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision while still being a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Someone who is tech savvy and can easily learn new software programs
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must!
  • MUST have knowledge of tax documents
