Summary
We are seeking an energetic and analytical Specialist, Channel Compensation who will continue to drive success for our Compensation initiatives.
As part of the Channel Compensation team, this position will be leading our governance for payments, reporting and data analytics.
The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient professional that constantly strives to scale and improve on processes, has an eye for details, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Channel Compensation, the successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing process, reporting and analytics related to wireless / wireline payments for external partner channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and enhance financial, payment and process controls
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system / reporting enhancements
- Manage compensation projects and communications to internal / external channel partners
- Create and lead presentations to management and senior executive teams
- Analyze contract and payment execution requirements to ensure successful system deployment
- Undertake audits to ensure payment accuracy and compliance with contracted terms
- Perform analysis and investigations to support reporting and decision making
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal / external channel partners and stakeholders
Critical Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, SAS, Oracle, Teradata or others
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- University degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Business; Finance or relevant fields
- Strong business and financial acumen, ability to analyze data and provide key recommendations
- Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills; strong attention to detail
- Project management and process improvement experience
- Ability to multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines without compromising quality
- Motivated, self-starter capable of driving projects to completion
- Working knowledge of Bell internal systems, processes, products and services an asset
