Inventory Specialist

Position : Inventory Specialist

Duration : 3-month contract to hire

Location : Ottawa, ON

PR : $17.75 (goes up to $18-$20 / hr after conversion)

Shift : 8 : 00-5 : 00 M-F

Environment : 100% outside role

PPE will be supplied — Work boots above the ankle are required and not supplied (does not have to be steel toe)

Start Date : ASAP

No prior experience needed!

Growth : supervisor role and manager roles to be promoted to!

Inventory Specialist (IS) Role :

• The IS works entirely outdoors at the yard and handles incoming cars daily to prepare them for online auction. Day-to-day responsibilities include :
• Cleaning out the car (removing personal items and trash, vacuuming; not a full detail)
• Running the car through a checklist using Copart handheld MI devices to document condition, make, model, etc.
• Taking specific images of the car for online auction
• Candidates typically come from warehouse or general labor backgrounds
• Must be comfortable working entirely outdoors
