About the Opportunity
- You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements, and assisting the VP Finance in preparing budgets, forecasts, and audits in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- You will also manage the payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow functions and ensure compliance with tax laws and internal policies.
- You will work closely with the senior management, board of directors, external auditors, funders, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely financial information and advice.
- You will also supervise and mentor a small team of finance and non-finance staff.
About You
- Min 5-7 years experience
- You have a CPA designation and at least 3 years of experience working as a controller or a senior accountant for a small or mid-sized company, preferably with experience with a start-up company.
