Risk Analyst (VendorManagement Third PartyRisk)

Ourclient in the insurance industry is seeking a skilled Risk Analystwith expertise in Vendor Management and ThirdParty Risk to jointheir team on a contract basis.

This role is designed to cover aleave and is crucial in supporting the Vendor Governance Managementteam in NorthAmerica.

Whatis in it foryou :

Hourly salary of $45 to $55 based onexperience.

4month contract withthe potential for extension.

Fulltime position : 37.50 hours perweek.

Work schedule from 9 : 00 amto 5 : 00 pm.

Hybrid work : 3 officedays from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities :

Support annual governance activities by collecting comparing andpreparing governance data across various programs including SLAmeasurements vendor IT backgrounds and cybersecurityissues.

Collaborate with businessunits stakeholders and internal subject matter experts to ensureeffective risk management of the company s vendorsglobally.

Conduct precontract duediligence reviewing questionnaires and assessing the impact of riskassessments on vendors.

Completeannual risk governance for highrisk vendors ensuring compliancewith established policies and mandatory risk requirements (e.

g.information security contractualobligations).

Engage withInformation Risk Management Legal Compliance and other riskmanagement experts as needed.

Review and assess vendor risk issues escalating any complianceproblems that have not been resolvedadequately.

Serve as a subjectmatter expert improving awareness of operational risks posed byvendor failures or poorperformance.

Perform dataaggregation analytics and reportingactivities.

Assist with andmanage ad hoc projects asrequired.

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

Bachelor s degree preferred.

CISAcertification or equivalent in information security isadvantageous.

5 years ofexperience in a professionalenvironment.

3 years ofexperience in vendor management thirdparty risk operational orenterprise risk internal audit or corporateprocurement / contracts.

Strongknowledge of risk management practices and principles with handsonexperience in monitoring and managing vendorrisk.

Proficiency in BusinessEnglish (written and oral) with excellent communication skills forengaging with stakeholders at alllevels.

Demonstrated ability tomeet deliverables on time with strong organizational and timemanagement skills.

Proficiency inMicrosoft Excel Word Access andSharePoint.

Information securityknowledge with the ability to read and understand vendor riskassessments.

Strong interpersonalskills with a serviceorientedattitude.

Exceptionalmultitasking and decisionmaking abilities with sound judgment inprioritizing tasks.

Excellentproblemsolving capabilities with the ability to analyze complexissues and provide clearsolutions.

Experience in thefinancial industry is aplus.
