Job Summary : We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate has experience in pastry arts, a passion for baking, and a commitment to food safety.
Key Responsibilities :
- Dessert Preparation : Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, and breads according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Creative Decoration : Decorate cakes, pastries, and other desserts with precision, ensuring an attractive and appetizing display.
- Ingredient Management : Measure and mix ingredients accurately, following recipes and ensuring minimal waste.
- Quality Control : Maintain a high level of quality and presentation for all baked items, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Inventory and Supplies : Assist in monitoring inventory levels, ordering ingredients as needed, and properly storing perishables.
- Cleanliness and Organization : Keep the pastry station and work areas clean, organized, and in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Menu Development Support : Work with the Pastry Chef to develop new dessert ideas, seasonal items, and special-order requests.
