Role Description :

This is a full time Scala Developer role located in Toronto, ON with flexibility for some remote work. As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for software development, functional programming, implementing Test Driven Development practices, and working with microservices architecture.

The role will involve working collaboratively to develop and deliver scalable and high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications :

• Experience with Scala and functional programming
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle principles and best practices
• Experience with Test Driven Development and writing testable code
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with financial services technology or asset management solutions is a plus
