DEPARTMENT MISSION
The Advanced Engineering group is researching the use of generative AI to enhance the realism of synthetic data used to train sensor fusion and perception networks, as well as to generate entirely new scenes.
The group is also researching the use of large language models to assist with scenario generation and AI explainability challenges.
These innovative efforts are not only aimed at increasing the cost-effectiveness, diversity, and reusability of training data but also at revolutionizing the way AI systems learn and interact with the world.
By leading these advancements, you will shape the future of AI development and deployment for Leddartech.
Main Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Lead technology development at Leddartech, establishing a group focused on LLM applications for autonomous vehicle
- Advocate for technologies both within and outside of Leddartech
- Deliver literature surveys, proofs of concepts, product-oriented algorithms research, performance reports and future direction recommendations.
- Manage pre-products development based on these technologies
- Collaborate with teams to deploy knowledge and technology throughout the company
The Ideal person for this job will have
- PhD in AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Robotic
- 5+ years significant experience in research team management, for AI, LLM, computer vision : autonomous environment data generation, world model, explainability and control
- Publications in renowned conferences and journals related to artificial intelligence and algorithms
- data driven simulation, robotic, autonomous vehicle an asset
- Previous experience in deploying algorithms to real-world applications for industry applications
- Stare of the art software development and deployment experience
