Senior Solutions Architect

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Security Solutions Architect for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

The successful candidate will be required to work 2x / month on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON.

Security Requirement

Must be eligible for a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Clearance.

Equipment Required

You will be expected to have your own laptop to perform the work. A laptop will not be provided.

Key Tasks

• Working with the technology stakeholders to explain how an assessment is performed and what information is required as part of an architecture to complete an assessment
• Review architectures / proposed technology designs to provide feedback to the technology stakeholders
• Documenting the cyber security design assessment of the proposed solution
• Collaborate with security and technical teams to ensure security requirements and risks, including potential mitigations, are understood
• Follow up on the cyber risk assessment to its completion (end to end process)
• Develop and provide guidance on repeatable security solutions (i.e., patterns)
• Participate in various informational sessions as needed

Key Qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Cyber Security
• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience with risk management and security control methodologies and frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2)

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working in the field of Cyber Security Architecture
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex security and technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated knowledge of architecting and implementing technical solutions in an enterprise environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Operations (Azure)
• Demonstrated knowledge of application security (SDLC)
