Job description
Position Scope

We are seeking a motivated and talented Marketing Co-op Student to join our Marketing and Communications team for a 4 or 8 months term, contributing to exciting and impactful projects at a global level.

As a Marketing Co-op Student, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects aimed at enhancing our brand presence, engaging target audiences, and driving strategic marketing initiatives. This is a project-based role designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, allowing you to apply theoretical knowledge gained in your academic studies to real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead SEO and website optimization for parent and subsidiary brands, providing recommendations, testing and analysis of performance metrics.
  • Conduct market research projects including competitive intelligence, sustainability initiatives, and sector deep dives in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Develop creative content for various marketing channels, including social media and email campaigns, aligning with brand guidelines.
  • Assist in planning and executing ongoing marketing campaigns, including but not limited to tradeshow activities, product innovations, and key industry sectors.
  • Support the marketing team as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program with a focus on Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Native English writing proficiency.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools.
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, website search tools including Google, social media channels such as Linked In, YouTube and Facebook.
  • Website building experience (Squarespace) and basic understanding of SEO ideal.
