Job description

Principales responsabilités

Générer, développer, documenter et présenter des reportages originaux orientés vers les actualités locales et les manchettes créatives
Produire des reportages et des manchettes, notamment mener des entrevues, rédiger des scripts et faire la narration des textes
Utiliser de l’équipement de reportage électronique et de montage numérique pour tourner et monter des reportages
Régler et utiliser de l’équipement de transmission en direct (p. ex. l’émetteur Dejero ou l’application Dejero, les ensembles Atlas, etc.)
Faire des reportages en direct
S’engager de manière régulière et percutante dans les réseaux sociaux
Rédiger et fournir le contenu Web
Développer des contacts et des sources
Démontrer de solides aptitudes à prendre des décisions sur le contenu éditorial
Affectations de fins de semaine et de fins de soirée, comme requise
Coanimer, présenter des bulletins de nouvelles ou présenter la météo

Qualifications essentielles

Études postsecondaires avec spécialisation en radiodiffusion (p. ex. diplôme en journalisme) ou l’équivalent. Expérience de présentation en ondes à titre de reporteur ou videojournaliste à la télévision, requise. Expérience en vidéojournalisme, souhaitée. Expérience en présentation de nouvelles ou en animation, un atout

Solides aptitudes pour la recherche et la communication

Solides aptitudes pour la créativité et le leadership

Capacité de travailler rapidement et de composer avec plusieurs demandes en tenant compte de la pression des échéances de la diffusion en direct

Connaissance du Canada atlantique (histoire, géographie, conditions politiques et socio-économiques) ainsi que des défis auxquels la région doit faire face, souhaitée

Expérience d’utilisation de l’équipement de journalisme électronique et du montage non linéaire, requise

Initiative, créativité et curiosité avérées

Excellente compréhension de l’éthique journalistique, essentielle

Expérience en présentation en direct

Forte présence sur les médias sociaux (p. ex. Twitter, Facebook, etc.), requise

Expérience dans la diffusion de contenu sur les plateformes numériques, y compris les sites Web, souhaitée

Expérience avec le logiciel iNews et la technologie Dejero, souhaitée

Excellent esprit d’équipe et fiable

Compétences en narration créative et solide jugement éditorial

Capacité de soulever et de porter des charges pouvant aller jusqu’à 20,5 kg

Un permis de conduire valide de classe 5 et un bon dossier de conduite sont exigés

Expérience de chef d’antenne, un atout
