This Pressing Packer (12-Hour Day Shift) Position Features:

Immediate need for pressing packer (12-hour day shift) seeking

Schedule
Shift: 12-hour Day Shift
Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + every other Wednesday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay Rate $18.00

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pressing Packer to join our production team. This role is responsible for performing quality checks, packing parts, and palletizing products according to specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Pack and stack parts according to product specifications
• Ensure products meet quality standards; discard non-conforming parts
• Use gauges and follow product book instructions for accurate pack-out
• Palletize finished products safely and efficiently
• Assist the Dry End Floater with:
• Covering breaks
• Wrapping skids
• General support tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (sweeping, housekeeping, etc.)
• Follow instructions from the Shift Supervisor and team leads
• Complete all assigned tasks as required
Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and visual instructions (SOPs, diagrams, product specs)
• Basic math skills
• Strong problem-solving ability and common sense decision-making
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is an asset
Health & Safety Requirements
• CSA-approved steel-toe boots required
• Eye and hearing protection must be worn on the plant floor
• Must follow all workplace health & safety policies and procedures
• Ability to work safely around machinery and forklift traffic
• No cell phone use permitted on the plant floor
