About the Role
The company is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their team. This role is in-person, 5 days a week, for candidates based in Bogotá or Mexico City . For candidates located outside of these two cities but within Latin America, this is a remote position .
The ideal candidate is process-oriented, adept at agile methodologies, and passionate about delivering value to users.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the development team.
Collaborate with the Head of Product to translate roadmap items into actionable user stories.
Ensure QA teams have access to clear acceptance criteria.
Implement and adapt agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrumban) to optimize team efficiency.
Foster collaboration within the team, spinning off sub-teams or handling tasks independently as needed.
Identify and mitigate project risks, involving relevant stakeholders when necessary.
Utilize wireframing and prototyping tools to support the design and development process.
Maintain comprehensive documentation to benefit the entire team.
Demo features and prototypes to users, gathering feedback to improve UX and adaptability.
Must-Have Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a software development team.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technical projects.
Deep understanding of agile development principles and software release processes.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Azure DevOps).
Strong feature design, UX design, prototyping, and wireframing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience as a Product Owner or in product marketing.
Familiarity with QA processes.
Knowledge of SQL and programming.
Comfort working across multiple environments and operating systems.
Experience with customer feedback and service desks.
