Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily activities of production crews to meet manufacturing schedules and deadlines.
Promote and uphold a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Assign work, monitor progress, and support employees in achieving production targets.
Work alongside crews in plant to complete tasks including concrete finishing, setting up forms, cleaning forms and other tasks required
Provide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
Communicate production priorities and operational updates to crew members and supervisors.
Assist in troubleshooting production challenges and implementing corrective actions.
Monitor material usage, equipment performance, and workforce productivity.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborate with Production, Quality Control, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to improve operational efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance productivity and quality.

Requirements

Must have own transportation, no public transportation available
Good attendance and a positive attitude
Experience in a manufacturing, construction, industrial, or precast concrete environment.
Previous leadership experience as a Lead Hand, Team Lead, Foreperson, or Supervisor is preferred.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative team environment.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, production schedules, and work instructions is considered an asset.
Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or other industrial equipment is considered an asset.
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of precast concrete manufacturing processes are considered assets.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial setting.
