Journeyperson Millwright – Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

📍 Location: Nisku / Leduc, AB
⏳ Term: Temp-to-Perm

Are you an experienced Journeyperson Millwright looking for a stable, long-term career with a global leader in industrial equipment manufacturing and service? We are currently seeking a highly skilled Millwright for an immediate start in the Nisku/Leduc area.

In this temp-to-perm role, you will be working in a large-scale, well-established heavy industrial facility. You will focus on the assembly, maintenance, overhaul, and testing of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and rotating equipment. Responsibilities
- Equipment Overhaul & Repair: Perform complex assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of heavy rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, and mechanical drive systems.

- Hydraulics & Pneumatics: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial hydraulic and pneumatic components.

- Precision Work: Align machinery and equipment using laser alignment and precision measuring tools.

- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret complex technical blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and OEM manuals.

- Quality & Safety: Conduct rigorous inspections to ensure all equipment meets strict operational, quality, and safety standards.

- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams (including machinists and welders) to minimize downtime and keep production on track.

Qualifications
- Trade Certification: Valid Alberta Journeyperson Millwright ticket or Interprovincial Red Seal.

- Technical Expertise: Proven background working with heavy industrial manufacturing, oilfield equipment, or large-scale rotating machinery.

- Hydraulics Knowledge: Strong understanding of complex hydraulic and mechanical systems.

- Problem Solver: Excellent mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.

- Communication: Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

- Attitude: Highly motivated, safety-conscious, and reliable with a strong work ethic.

- Availability: Ability to start immediately or with minimal notice.
