Who we are looking for
This is a hands-on software development position for an experienced IT professional with extensive interest and experience in the Financial Services area, looking to join a global leader in Asset Administration and Custodian Services. What you will be responsible for
As an Extended Enterprise App Developer you will :
- Provide technical leadership and co-ordinate work effort with other teams.
- Work closely with business users, Development, QA and Infrastructure teams.
- Design highly available distributed systems by leveraging experience in Java programming and design; receiving and analyzing requirements and proposing a suitable solution that adheres to the team's methodology; delivering successfully within an Agile / waterfall environment and demonstrating the flexibility and adaptability to operate successfully in such an environment.
- Communicate with all parties involved including senior management, developers, architects, and end users, who may be based in different locations and time zones; coordinate the work of a small team of developers, potentially in different locations and time zones.
- Take ownership of small to medium projects and run them from inception to completion; apply skills in messaging frameworks, Linux / bash scripting , relational databases, and development and build tools.
