Full-time, long-term opportunity working for a steel fabrication company.
What we offer:
– $24-27/hr
– Weekly Pay
– Long-term opportunity
– Day Shift
Job Duties:
1. Ensure all paperwork is complete and all material coming into the yard matches the PO and is labelled with the job number
2. Maintain inventory levels and ensure all material is accurately labelled and software is up to date with location of material (ie. Shop floor, yard, etc.)
3. Drive the combi lift or forklift as needed to handle material before and after manufacturing. Providing shop workers with assistance and necessary raw materials to complete production
4. Printing POs, work orders, waybills etc. from software and keeping accurate files
5. Preparing material for shipping and loading trucks ensuring the correct material has been made ready for the shipment
6. Other duties as needed for the effective production on the shop floor
Requirements:
– 3 years of experience as a forklift operator
– Knowledge o ERP software
– Proficient in Excel and MS Word
– Comfortable working outdoors when required
