A Snapshot of Your Day
As a software development intern, you will contribute to the creation, improvement, and maintenance of the applications used daily by our manufacturing operators. This role will allow you to gain experience in different aspects of development - user interface, application logic, and database integration - while discovering the realities of an industrial environment.
You will participate in all stages of the development process that needs analysis, design, programming, testing, deployment, and continuous optimization. You will have the opportunity to learn about various technologies, collaborate with end-users, and propose concrete improvements that will have a real impact on the efficiency of our operations.
This internship is ideally suited for a motivated, curious individual eager to gain experience by working on diverse projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Contribute to the development and improvement of manufacturing applications, working on both the user interface, application logic, and databases.
- Participate in the entire development cycle: design, programming, testing, deployment, and support.
- Develop or adjust simple and functional interfaces according to operators’ needs.
- Implement or modify backend functionalities in C# and SQL queries to ensure the reliability and performance of the applications.
- Work directly with end-users to understand their needs and tailor the solutions accordingly.
- Propose ideas for improvements, simplify existing processes, and help make the tools more efficient.
- Maintain existing applications and participate in their ongoing evolution.
What You Bring
- Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and SQL databases and Interest in backend development with C#, or a willingness to actively learn this technology.
- Curiosity to understand manufacturing processes and a desire to improve them through digital solutions.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and ask questions at the right time.
- Motivation to work on different aspects of development (interface, application logic, integration, testing).
- This position is in a French-speaking environment but requires fluency in English to comprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources, and to communicate with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.
