ENGINEERING DIRECTOR
Working location : Trois Rivieres, Quebec, Canada
Overview
ANDRITZ BONETTI CANADA inc is looking for a Director of Engineering responsible for leading and executing the product development, calculations, and respect of the budget according to the equipment sold.
Responsibilities
- Partner with other department leaders and management executives to drive and improve product development.
- Lead, mentor and supervise Draftsman-Designers in the development of the project until customer approval.
- Analyze strategic projects and prioritize accordingly.
- Produce general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings and material lists for approval and fabrication.
- Design tasks (protocol, calculation, compliance with manufacturing standards).
- Establish material list for equipment fabrication.
- Perform some design calculations.
- Perform dimensional surveys of existing equipment at the customer's site on an occasional basis.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
