Job descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered. Proficiency in Python and AWS services. Experience with cloud-based architecture solutions and microservices. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Websockets, and OAuth. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for deploying cloud infrastructure. Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and real-time application frameworks (e.g., SignalR, Socket.IO). Understanding of spatial data formats (GeoJSON, Shapefiles, GeoTIFFs) and visualization techniques. Proven experience leading a technical team and driving successful project outcomes. Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Competitive Salary : CAD $110,000 - CAD $150,000 annually (based on experience and skills). The Role
As a Senior Software Developer, you will lead a team of developers in designing, building, and maintaining software systems that process and analyze geotechnical data. You will ensure the delivery of secure, scalable solutions that support GIS applications, enabling accurate monitoring of critical infrastructure such as dams, bridges, and tunnels.
