Accounting & Office Administrator

We are seeking an Accounting & Office Administrator to join our New-Life Mills team. This role is responsible for accounting processes related to inventory, purchases, and logistics for three feed mill locations, while also managing the main reception desk.

Status: FT Permanent
Division: New-Life Mills
Location: Hanover, ON (On Site)

Day to Day
  • Perform accounting processes related to inventory, purchases, and logistics
  • Post journal entries and collect approvals
  • Record transactions in suspense accounts
  • Complete various accounting administrative functions
  • Manage the main reception desk for phone and visitor inquiries
  • Process incoming and outgoing courier distribution
  • Order office supplies and manage boardroom calendar
  • Handle occasional mail pick-up and other clerical tasks as required
Required Qualifications
  • High school education required.
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
