Job description

Matchbox Consulting Group is working with a leading Canadian general contractor is seeking a Scheduling Manager to support one of the largest healthcare projects currently underway in Alberta

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing project schedules throughout the construction lifecycle. You'll work closely with project leadership, operations teams, consultants, and stakeholders to drive project performance and ensure key milestones are achieved.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and manage master project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Monitor project progress, critical path activities, and schedule risks
  • Lead schedule updates, forecasting, and recovery planning
  • Support pre-construction planning and project execution teams
  • Conduct schedule analysis, reporting, and time impact assessments
  • Mentor and support scheduling team members

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of construction scheduling experience
  • Strong proficiency with Primavera P6
  • Experience on large-scale construction projects ($150M+ preferred)
  • Background in commercial, institutional, healthcare, or major infrastructure projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
