About the Job

Security Guard - Part Time

Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for Part Time Security Guards in Bolton, Ontario.

Job Details:

Must Drive (Own Vehicle) / Have access to a car.
Part-time.
Open availability for weekend shifts (Friday afternoon to Monday morning) - ( 2:30 PM - 10.30 PM/ 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM) is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Enforce regulations of establishments.
Visitor Access Control.
Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems).
Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
Monitor security cameras.
Operate security control room equipment.
Patrolling.
Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
Report writing.

Qualifications, Required License, or Certification:

Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
CPR Level C Certified.
Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
Must be available to do shift work: afternoons, nights, and weekends.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Professional work ethics.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site-specific.
Excellent Customer Service.
Willing to travel 40-50 kilometers to work if needed.

What we offer:

Part-time.
Paid training.
Pay rate $17.75/Hr.
