MatchBox Consulting is urgently seeking a Business Analyst for a 17-month contract opportunity with our New Westminster based public sector client.
Business Analyst - 17 Month Contract
What You'll Do
- Run workshops with subject matter experts to map current and future business processes, including data and integration requirements
- Translate business needs into solution requirements
- Perform fit-gap analyses and recommend solutions
- Assess existing systems across the organizatiion and its operating companies
- Validate deliverables with stakeholders and get sign-off
- Prepare status updates, presentations, and project plan input
- Support RFP prep, configuration, test planning, deployment, and change management
Key Deliverables
Current/future state analysis, requirements traceability matrix, fit-gap analysis, pilot recommendation report, and supporting documentation for RFP, configuration, testing, deployment, and change management.
Required
- 5+ years in business analysis / process improvement
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Visio
- SharePoint experience
- Strong track record implementing technology projects and gathering functional/technical requirements
- Experience with technical feasibility studies and application roadmapping
- Bachelor's degree with formal BA/process improvement training
- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills
Preferred
- Experience in policing or justice-sector BA roles
- Background in digital evidence management or body-worn camera projects
- Familiarity with government MOUs
- CBAP or CCBA certification (nice-to-have)
