Job Summary
The Purchasing Analyst is responsible for providing administrative and reporting support to the supply chain team. This role ensures that supplier contracts, purchasing data, and performance records are accurate, up to date, and aligned with company policies. The position focuses on contract administration, supplier master data maintenance, supplier performance evaluation preparation, reporting and overall back-office support to ensure seamless procurement operations.
Responsibilities
Contract Administration & Supplier Management
- Maintain and track supplier contracts, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and compliance with corporate standards.
- Support the preparation, review, and execution of supplier agreements in coordination with legal and procurement teams.
- Monitor contract milestones, key deliverables, and performance clauses.
Master Data Management
Create, update, and validate supplier master data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP)Ensure data accuracy and integrity for supplier profiles, payment terms, and purchasing categories.Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure vendor data compliance and consistency.Supplier Performance & Reporting
Assist in preparing supplier performance scorecards and evaluation reports.Gather supply chain operations KPIs such as quality and responsiveness.Support corrective action tracking and supplier development initiatives along with the designated buyers.Administrative & Back-Office Support
Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with company policies.Maintain organized records of supplier communications, contracts, and documentation.Support internal audits and compliance checks related to purchasing documentation.Assist in developing and maintaining procurement dashboards and reports.Support the implementation of procurement tools and digitalization initiatives.Required Skills / Qualifications
Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing analysis, or supply chain.Understanding contract management and supplier master data in an ERP system (SAP).Strong analytical and data management skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP system (SAP preferred).Good understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and contract administration.Effective communication skills for internal and supplier interactions.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Familiarity with ISO or quality management systems (preferred).Exposure to procurement analytics and KPI reporting (preferred).Continuous improvement mindset and basic knowledge of lean principles (preferred).Work Location : Hybrid (In-office 3 days per week, subject to change)

Salary : $ 63,000 – 70,000 CAD
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
