The Senior Third Party Market Conduct and Operations Specialist will carry out operational tasks that enable efficient onboarding and commission processing.

As a senior resource, they are the subject matter expert on market conduct and operational processes and will provide guidance to individuals within the department. They will also liaise with business partners, MGAs/AGAs and vendors to ensure processes align across multiple workstreams.

How you will create impact:

  • Using established standards, assess Advisor suitability for contracting with Co-operators.
  • Review non-standard applicants, summarize information and coordinate the appropriate level of approval.
  • Initiate licence applications and communicate with insurance regulators as needed.
  • Complete assessments of MGA/AGA applicants and provide a Market Conduct opinion on suitability.
  • Monitor market conduct of Advisors and MGAs/AGAs.
  • Perform scheduled audits on Advisors and MGA/AGAs.
  • Prepare summary notes and reports on the results of monitoring and auditing.
  • Manage communication with MGAs/AGAs and internal stakeholders through the team’s shared email.
  • Handle escalated issues for complex screening and monitoring cases as well as commission processing.

To join our team:

  • Handle escalated issues for complex screening and monitoring cases as well as commission processing.
  • Proficiency in English is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority non-francophone clients, groups, teams. Drafting complex English documents and preparing daily reports for anglophone leaders. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Expected salary/hourly range $91,058 - $121,411.​

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.​​

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
