The Opportunity

As a Backend Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, performant, and scalable backend systems that power our digital applications. You’ll work closely with frontend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to create APIs, manage data flows, and ensure seamless integration across systems.

Your Impact in the Team

Designing and building server‑side logic, APIs, and data models that enable exceptional user experiences.

Collaborating with product owners and frontend developers to deliver reliable backend solutions aligned with business goals.

Contributing to feature estimation, technical feasibility analysis, and sprint planning to ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Championing code quality, performance optimization, and data security across all backend services.

Your Knowledge and Skills

Education : Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience : 4–6 years of professional experience in backend development, focusing on building APIs, microservices, and data‑driven systems.

Database Expertise : Solid experience with relational (MSSQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL) and non‑relational (MongoDB, Redis) databases.

Cloud Proficiency : Hands‑on experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Security Mindset : Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure coding best practices.

Version Control : Proficient with Git and CI / CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).

Containerization : Experience with Docker and containerized application design.

Technical Stack

Languages & Frameworks : JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js (NestJS a plus)

Databases : MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

Tools & Platforms : AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker, GitHub Actions

Bonus Skills : Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis); Exposure to frontend frameworks (React / Vue.js) is an asset.
