Job description

Job Posting – Picker Packer / Shipper-Receiver
Company: MA Stewart and Sons
Industry: Industrial valve and fittings distribution
Location: Public transit accessible
Position Type: Temp-to-perm (transition to a more technical role after 1 year)
Start Date: ASAP (June 9th)
Salary: $20/hour – 40 hours/week (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

👖 Worksite Info:
Ambient temperature, low noise
No allergens present
Dress code: jeans, steel-toe boots, long sleeves
PPE provided on site

Responsibilities
🔧 Main Responsibilities:

- Pick and pack orders accurately
- Ship and receive goods
- Use internal computer systems (SAP or WMS knowledge is a plus)
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Work independently and communicate clearly with team

Qualifications
🧰 Requirements:

- Warehouse experience in a distribution setting
- Able to lift heavy loads
- Computer literate
- Good communication and autonomy
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required
- Must pass a criminal background check and provide 3 references
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
