Health & Safety Coordinator for Construction

We’re looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator who wants to help build a proactive safety culture not just maintain compliance. If you’re confident on active job sites, strong in systems, and able to influence our team, this could be the right seat for you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead site safety inspections, internal audits, and risk identification
- Conduct and support accident/incident investigations
- Maintain compliance with health & safety legislation and COR standards
- Deliver safety training, new employee onboarding, and monthly bulletins
- Liaise with external safety consultants and MOL
- Collaborate with project teams on Safe Job Procedures and site specific safety plans
- Participate in project kickoff meetings and job hazard assessments
- Maintain safety records and documentation
- Track and report on safety metrics
What You Bring
- 2–3+ years of construction Health & Safety experience
- Strong knowledge of Ontario OHSA, WSIB, and COR requirements
- Diploma/degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- CHSC, NCSO, CRSP [or working toward] considered an asset
- Experience conducting audits and investigations
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Confidence walking active construction sites
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle

In accordance with Ontario’s Pay Transparency requirements, a compensation range of $65,000 -$80,000 is included in this publicly advertised role. Final compensation is determined based on the role and the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
