Job descriptionAfternoon shift – 1.15$ / h premium Night shift – 1.35$ / h premium We are looking for people available on a rotative schedule, 2 weeks each shift. Perform wide range of mechanical tests on fasteners, including tensile strength, hardness check, torque-tension testing, proof load test, torsional test Use specialized equipment (e.g., universal testing machines, hardness testers, and torque-tension machine) to perform testing Inspect and prepare fastener samples for testing according following the process Record and analyze test data, ensuring results are accurately documented Interpret test results and compare them to the respective specifications Maintain consistency and accuracy in all testing procedures Ensure the lab environment is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations Communicate the test results and findings to supervisors in a clear and concise manner High School diploma or equivalent A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the fastener industry Ability to use computer, familiar with Excel and Outlook for emails Open mindset for learning Team player. Ability to work with other colleagues in a professional manner Comfortable working various shifts – Morning, Split and Afternoon Strong attention to detail with advanced problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to lift 40 lbs
POSITION SUMMARY
Infasco Nut is looking for a Laboratory QC Inspector to join our Team! W e are seeking detail-oriented individual able to perform precise testing and measurements while maintaining a high level of safety and quality in the lab environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that fasteners meet the necessary standards to perform effectively in their intended applications. The future employee will be u nder the responsibility of the Assistant Quality Manager.
Salary
- Starting wage at 22.64$ / h;
- 23.90$ / h after 240 days of work
- 25.16$ / h after 480 days of work.
Work Schedule : 3 Shift operations (day, afternoon and night) - 40 hours per week
