The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting and promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization. This role involves proactively identifying opportunities for process and product improvements, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and contributing to the development and maintenance of quality systems. In this role you will require effective problem-solving skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. The Quality Engineer must be adaptable in fast-paced environments and committed to maintaining high standards of quality through data-driven decision-making and teamwork.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are detailed below, but not limited to the following :
Automotive
- Support and lead activities related to automotive quality standards.
- Prepare and submit PPAP packages per customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain APQP documentation : Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flows, Inspection Instructions, and SOPs.
- Lead or participate in customer complaint investigations using 8D and other problem-solving tools (5 Why’s, Fishbone, etc.).
- Conduct GR&R and capability studies as required.
- Act as a key quality contact for assigned automotive and non-automotive customers.
- Train internal teams on quality tools and customer-specific requirements.

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 – $95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.
