What is the opportunity?

We are looking for QA Analyst. You will work with Developers, Testers, and Business teams, to design, execute and maintain testing strategies and plans for business applications leveraging different tools and technology. Applying your background in development and testing, you will support development, maintenance, and execution of testing activities.

What will you do?

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.

  • Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code for testing tools and frameworks.

  • Collaborate with scrum teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases.

  • Conduct thorough testing to identify bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities. Ensure that testing aligns with business requirements and user expectations.

  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and DevOps teams to understand requirements, design testable features, and ensure smooth integration.

  • Contribute to the development of the product itself, ensuring testability and quality are built into the software from the ground up.

  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.

  • Provide clear and concise test reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

  • Monitor and maintain test environments to ensure reliability and consistency.

  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance the overall quality assurance process.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • 4+ years of proven experience in test design, development, execution, automation, and defect management.

  • Experience in backend and data testing.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and SQL queries.

  • Experience with UNIX.

  • Some experience with batch scheduling tools (ideally StoneBranch)

  • Experience working in Agile Methodology. Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence and qTest or similar.

  • Good knowledge of Testing Life Cycle, Shift left approach and Defect Management processes for application support and development.

Nice-to-have

  • Programming experience (Python, Java).

  • Experience with webservices/APIs.

  • Experience implementing automation Strategies & Framework.

  • Experience in testing Capital Markets applications and systems.

  • Experience in developing, implementing, and using Artificial Intelligence for Testing.

  • Interest in systems analysis and business analysis.

  • Understanding of financial products and Finance processes knowledges.

  • Understanding of Finance system architecture design especially subledgers and ledgers .

  • Experience in Capital Markets (trade processing and accounting generation).

  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.
