Do you want to grow in an environment where accounting goes far beyond the production of financial statements? Do you enjoy understanding operations, supporting managers, analyzing results, and contributing concretely to business decisions?
We are looking for a Financial Controller to join a well-established Quebec company that is evolving. The position is based in Boucherville and is part of a multi-site context where challenges are varied and opportunities to learn are abundant.
Here, you will be responsible for the financial monitoring of several entities and will work closely with accounting teams, operations managers, and financial management. You will thrive in an environment where autonomy, analysis, and collaboration are highly valued.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA who wants to develop a comprehensive view of operations, participate in process improvement, and have a tangible impact on the company's results.
Prepare monthly financial statements for several entities
Participate in monthly and year-end closings
Analyze financial results and explain variances
Present financial results to managers and answer their questions
Support operational teams in monitoring their financial performance
Review the accounting cycle and ensure the quality of financial information
Supervise certain activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting
Ensure the reconciliation of inventories and various balance sheet items
Prepare files for external auditors
Collaborate in the preparation of budgets and monitoring of financial performance
Participate in the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls
Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of work methods
Collaborate with different branches to ensure consistency in accounting practices
Occasionally travel to support teams on the ground
CPA title obtained or in progress
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
Experience in an accounting firm considered an asset
Experience in a multi-entity or multi-site environment
Very good mastery of Excel
Comfortable with accounting systems and technological tools
Valid driver's license
Functional English

This role is centered on providing financial support to operations in a multi-site context. It is not just an accounting production position.
The selected candidate will work with several internal partners, support managers in understanding their financial results, and directly contribute to process improvement.
The environment is stimulating, collaborative, and constantly evolving. Several projects are currently underway to modernize tools, standardize practices, and automate certain financial activities.
The position will particularly suit someone who enjoys understanding operations, building solutions, proposing improvements, and playing a partner role with teams.
