Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Payroll Analyst on a temporary basis within our People & Culture team (term up to 12 months).

Are you a problem-solving payroll expert The successful candidate in this role will provide functional guidance and subject matter expertise for payroll activities across the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS). This is an excellent opportunity to work cross-functionally with various teams and flex your expertise in payroll administration within a collaborative fast paced environment supporting thousands of employees

This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon SK.

What youll do :

Support a portfolio of local Co-ops with complex payrolls providing in-depth knowledge and hands-on support as required.

Respond to incoming calls and tickets by researching and documenting customer issues while collaborating with local Co-ops team members and process owners in other areas.

Lead the entire mid and year end processing cycle. This will require the creation of a project plan coordinating activities with FCL and local Co-op Payroll practitioners and providing year end training.

Participate in various payroll related projects (i.e. system transitions developing manuals).

Contribute to the development of reports for the core time & attendance / payroll function.

You will be part of our larger Payroll Services team reporting to one of two Payroll Supervisors. You will work alongside other Payroll Analysts and Payroll Associates supporting FCL local Co-ops and employees across the Co-operative Retailing System. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration community and support.

Who you are :

You are looking for a career in Payroll Services and :

• Have 5 years of relevant experience in payroll processing and / or customer support on payroll systems.
• Have a bachelors degree with a major in accounting (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
• Are familiar with UKG and Oracle (considered an asset).
