Visit us: www.synterra.ca Job Summary Work Location: Porcupine, Northern Ontario Work Setting: Private Security Agency, Mine/Energy Site Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day security and safety operations.

Supervise and support security staff on shift.

Prepare and manage shift schedules.

Conduct training and onboarding for new guards.

Coordinate and participate in Health & Safety meetings.

Control site access and enforce security protocols.

Complete administrative duties, reports, and incident documentation.

Monitor surveillance systems and perform site patrols.

Work Conditions: Outdoor and indoor work environments.

Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Shift : 5-5-4 rotation (days or nights) Wage : $23.50 - $27.50 Requirements: Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License Valid Criminal Background Check (completed in the past 3 months) Strong communication and report-writing skills Ability to respond to emergencies and lead under pressure Customer service and conflict resolution experience Legally entitled to work in Canada Minimum of 18 years of age Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of security experience, preferably in an industrial, mine, or energy environment Prior supervisory or lead-hand experience required Powered by JazzHR
