The Opportunity:

We are seeking a recent graduate with a passion for Human Resources to join a global HR team through a 2-year Global Trainee Program based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

This rotational program is designed to provide hands-on exposure to multiple HR disciplines while developing future HR professionals through structured learning, mentorship, project work, and potential international exposure.

The successful candidate will gain practical experience supporting key HR functions while building a strong understanding of the organization’s people strategy, systems, and operations.

What You’ll Do:

During the Global Trainee Program, you will:

  • Participate in structured on-the-job training and rotational assignments
  • Support HR initiatives and projects across multiple HR functions
  • Analyze HR data and prepare reports to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with HR and operational leaders on employee engagement, recruitment, and workforce initiatives
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and processes
  • Build a strong understanding of the company’s business strategy, systems, and operational processes
  • Develop relationships across departments and work with multiple levels of the organization
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within HR
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable employment legislation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field with a specialization in Human Resources
  • Graduated within the last 4 years
  • 0–4 years of related professional experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
