Production Analyst

Travel Requirement : Overview :
The Production Analyst will be in charge of reporting and consolidating plant production data. This individual will team up with management in supporting production.
Responsibilities : Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
Function as a safety leader in the plant by demonstrating a personal commitment to working safely and ensuring that the Plant continues to eliminate work related risks. Function as a strong advocate and leader in promoting a safe working environment for all employees at the plant.
Function as an integral member of the management team with a focus on plant performance and continuous improvement. It is essential that the production analyst work very closely with the process areas, maintenance functions, and technical managers to ensure continuity within plant operations.
Responsible for maintenance of master data including daily production reporting, material recipes, long term planning - recipe, resource capacity, and energy consumption factors.
Responsible for process orders management including :
weekly release of process orders
daily confirmation of process and grind orders clearing of goods movement errors occurring after confirmation
complete process orders monthly
balance physical inventories of cement, clinker, and raw meal weekly and all other materials associated with production on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
ensure production versus consumption ratios are correct for all HARP functional areas
ensure raw material extraction, raw material preparation, raw meal preparation and cement clinker factors are correct each month
complete all process order TECO on a timely basis
Provide leadership and accountability for reporting accurate downtime notifications, use of correct heat factors, completion of downtime notifications and confirmations, and creation and execution of process orders
Support monthly forecasting
Take the lead on production budget, PDP, and MTP development :
Cost and volumes
Complete all necessary inputs into SAP for the budgeting process and verify the data entries into SAP
Guide physical inventory tracking and control. Ensure accurate movement of fuels and materials through production orders.
Communicate non-compliance issues, deficiencies and corrections required to appropriate plant personnel
Provide training to project system and production planning system users
Interface with maintenance on the weekly production / maintenance planning meeting
Support pyro team main activities during kiln outages
Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
Previous experience in an industrial setting is preferred
Must have strong leadership skills
Strong planning / organizing skills
Team player : have the ability to develop and maintain cohesive working relationships with peers and management
High initiative, self-starter
Must have strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Able to thoroughly analyze situations or processes from different perspectives
Able to independently determine discrepancies in trends or numerical data, investigate and resolve
Knowledge of cement manufacturing process, materials receipt, and procurement preferred
Knowledge of budgeting process
SAP and computer software (Excel, databases) experience
Salary Range : $70,000 - $80,000 per year
