If you are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in flawless execution, we want you on our team today.

Your Impact
Orchestrate Operations: Independently set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes to achieve and exceed daily production targets.
Troubleshoot & Optimize: Diagnose machine malfunctions and fine-tune CNC programs on the fly to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Guarantee Precision: Interpret intricate blueprints and utilize advanced measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators) to ensure every part meets exact tolerances.
Champion Excellence: Maintain a immaculate, safety-first workspace and collaborate with the team to spearhead continuous process improvements.
Who You Are
The Expert: Brings a proven track record of successfully setting up and running CNC mills or lathes within a fast-paced machine shop environment.
The Blueprint Navigator: Possesses the sharp analytical skills required to read, interpret, and execute complex technical drawings and work orders.
The Precisionist: Demonstrates mastery in using precision measurement tools to verify absolute part accuracy.

The Code Literate: Holds a solid foundational knowledge of G-code, allowing you to fluidly read, edit, and adjust machine programs.

The Reliable Professional: Operates with high autonomy, works efficiently under minimal supervision, possesses reliable personal transportation, and is ready to start immediately.

Advantages
Compensation: $28–$32/hour based on experience
Flexible Scheduling: Day and night shifts available
Thrive in a Skilled Environment: Grow your career in a modern, precision manufacturing facility
Stable, Long-Term Career: Permanent potential for dedicated individuals
Advanced Practical Experience: Gain valuable hands-on CNC machining and setup expertise
Culture of Safety: Work with a collaborative, safety-first team

Responsibilities
Prioritize Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to company QHSE standards and protocols.

Blueprint Analysis: Interpret technical blueprints, engineering plans, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

CNC Programming: Program mills and lathes by inputting precise instructions, including reference points, offsets, tool registers, and conditional switches.

Technical Math: Apply basic math, geometry, and trigonometry to calculate precise machining requirements.

Machine Setup: Configure mills and lathes by installing and adjusting chucks (3-jaw and 4-jaw), tools, collets, attachments, and stock pushers.

Material Handling: Load stock into machines safely, using overhead cranes and lifting devices when required.

Quality Control: Validate setups by measuring first-run parts and sample workpieces, and deburr finished pieces as needed.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Observe machine operations to detect malfunctions and troubleshoot process errors in real time.

Documentation: Accurately complete daily production sheets, quality forms, and maintenance logs.

Equipment Care & Growth: Assist with routine preventative maintenance and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of machining experience, including 2–3 years specifically focused on CNC mill and/or lathe setup.

Technical Skills: Proficient with Fanuc operational systems and Okuma G-Code. Strong expertise in machine tooling is required.

Blueprint & Layout Proficiency: Ability to accurately interpret blueprints, sketches, work orders, and verbal directions.

Precision Measurement: Expert knowledge of inspection tools, including calipers, ID/OD micrometers, height gauges, and thread wires/gauges.

Problem-Solving & Quality: Proven ability to troubleshoot machining issues, detect abnormal running conditions, and uphold strict quality standards.

Physical Demands: Able to stand for long periods and safely lift/move materials weighing 30–50 lbs.

Teamwork & Safety: Excellent communication skills, a collaborative team mindset, and ownership of steel-toed safety boots.
