Contact: Ireneh – iomere@fuzehr.com About the Opportunity Fuze HR is partnering with a well-established and growing Canadian food manufacturer known for producing premium baked and dessert products enjoyed across North America. With strong brand recognition and an expanding presence in retail and food service markets, the company is focused on continued growth and innovation within the frozen and specialty bakery category. To support this expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their sales team. This individual will play a key role in developing new business opportunities while also managing select strategic accounts across North America. You will be joining a collaborative sales organization that includes multiple Business Development Managers, a Key Account Manager, a Sales & Marketing Specialist, and a Sales Coordinator, all reporting to the Director of Bakery Sales. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within retail, food service, and distribution channels.
  • Manage and grow existing North American accounts while expanding product placement and revenue.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and food service partners.
  • Conduct sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions with new and existing clients.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
  • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, sales operations, and leadership to support growth initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the bakery and frozen food categories.
Candidate Profile We are seeking a driven and energetic sales professional who thrives in a relationship-driven, fast-paced environment. Required Experience
  • 4–7 years of Business Development or Sales experience
  • Experience within food manufacturing, food service, CPG, or related industries
  • Proven ability to generate new business and manage client relationships
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
Preferred Experience
  • Background in bakery, dessert, frozen foods, or specialty food products
  • Experience selling to North American retail or food service markets
  • Established network of industry contacts is considered an asset

  • Energetic and engaging with a natural sales personality
  • Highly motivated and results-driven
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving business environment
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $100,000 – $125,000

Work Model & Travel
