Shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11pm

Pay: $23.09

Position Summary

The Forklift Operator I is responsible for safely operating basic powered material handling equipment (excluding Order Picker, Turret, and Drexel) to support product receipt, storage, and order fulfillment. This role ensures product safety, quality, and legality while maintaining operational efficiency and accuracy.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform full-case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components.
  • Retrieve and put away pallets in narrow aisle bulk rack storage systems.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines using equipment or manual handling.
  • Sort and build product pallets to meet customer specifications.
  • Apply shrink wrap to pallets using appropriate machinery.
  • Complete pre- and post-operation equipment checklists.
  • Maintain storage location accuracy through daily cycle counts and inventory maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other distribution functions as needed based on business volume and operational needs.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to operate basic powered material handling equipment (e.g., electric pallet jack, forklift).
  • Comfortable working on equipment at extended heights.

    • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
    • Flexibility in meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Customer service oriented and strong team player.

If the incumbent resides in the province of Quebec, Functional French (written and spoken) is required.

Pay Range

USD $16,06 - USD $27,02
