Reporting to the Senior Director, the People Performance Manager will play a vital role as a member for an exceptional project team, will work closely with the People Performance Manager and the site team.

This position is in GTA.

What You Will Be Working On :

  • Develop and lead processes and communications for ongoing employee performance feedback loops tailored to the unique needs of the nuclear industry.
  • Provide guidance, expertise, and recommendations to enhance the quality and profile of the rewards and recognition program within the context of operations.
  • Contribute to the business and project strategy by helping leaders identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes to ensure that the needs are balanced with the need for consistency and equity.
  • Provide strategic and tactical internal consulting / facilitation and problem-solving advice and services to leaders and employees for People and Performance programs and services, ensuring alignment with nuclear industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist the management team with building a high-performance team through talent assessment, workforce and succession planning, risk assessment, and development plans, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Reinforce the development of a coaching culture as a way of inspiring project resources, emphasizing the importance of safety, precision, and compliance in the sector.
  • Apply generalist human resource knowledge across all aspects of the team, delivering measurable value to the management team and project team members.
  • Embed and champion human resource policies, information systems, projects, and practices which are aligned and meet the needs of our project team, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
  • Work closely with the project team to implement available tools & resources across the project, ensuring they meet project standards.

What We Are Looking For :

  • 5 years of work-related experience in employee feedback and employee recognition, preferably within the nuclear or a highly regulated industry. An equivalent combination of education / experience will be considered.
  • Maintains knowledge of best practices and trends in employee engagement and employee recognition, including maintaining contacts with other facilities and comparators regarding recognition and survey practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in using project management and change management principles, specifically within the context of the project.
  • Excellent project management skills in planning multi projects with interdependent timelines, ensuring alignment with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Sound judgment; excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with multiple stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of a PC and computer applications related to the work, e.g., Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel, Adobe, etc.
