We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, your leadership, organizational skills, and hands-on approach will be key in guiding technicians, sales, and administrative staff while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service.
Position: Operations Manager, East Coast Branches
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: This is a hybrid role, primarily based out of our Halifax office. However, the suucessful candidate will be required to travel to our offices in PEI, NB and NLFD on an as-needed basis to support operational needs.
Start Date: Effective immediately, pending candidate availability
Work Schedule: 9:00am–5:00pm (Monday–Friday), averaging 40 hours per week (overtime and weekend work may be required)

Insight Pest Solutions is seeking a motivated and hands-on Operations Manager to manage our East Coast operations. This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic team, and play a key role in delivering exceptional service while driving operational success.

Position Summary – Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned branches, ensuring efficient service delivery, administrative accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
- Serve as the first line of defense for customer satisfaction within the service department, maintaining a high standard of service quality.
- Work directly with Regional and Service Managers to monitor technician performance, branch operations, and operational compliance.
- Ensure all branch administrative functions are completed accurately and on time, including payroll support, WSIB paperwork, payments, bank deposits, and safety documentation.
- Standardize, implement, and enforce branch procedures, SOPs, and company policies across assigned locations.
- Monitor branch KPIs, finances, and operational data to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and execute action plans with branch leadership to improve efficiency, service quality, and branch performance.
- Oversee technician operational support including scheduling flow, technician notes reports, field tasks, onboarding support, and Azuga safety monitoring.
- Support HR processes including onboarding, training, performance management, disciplinary actions, and technician success tracking.
- Maintain customer experience standards through review management, Insight Tracker actions, and scheduling efficiency.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, professionalism, and operational excellence across all assigned branches.
- Perform any and all other duties assigned by the Employer that may arise.
Qualifications – What Will Make You Successful
- Post-secondary degree/diploma (preferred)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in leadership and project management (asset, not required)
- Strategic thinker with strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle
- Interest in pest control or willingness to learn
- Access to a personal laptop and/or computer
