Bookkeeper

Our client, a dynamic organization in the home heating sector, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be an integral part of the accounting department supporting financial operations and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title : Bookkeeper

Location : Dartmouth, NS

Pay Range : Based on Experience and Qualifications

Shift : Monday to Friday - 3 to 4 week term position

What's the Job?

Manage and maintain accurate bookkeeping records using Payworks payroll system

Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently

Reconcile financial statements and prepare reports as needed

Assist with payroll processing and related documentation

Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks

What's Needed?

Bookkeeping and Accounting principles

Accounts Payable accounting experience required

Familiarity with Payworks payroll system is required

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
