Job description

Our client in the retail industry is seeking a Assistant Store Manager to join their team. In this role, you will support store operations by assisting management and guiding staff on the sales floor. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, experience with sorting and lifting, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting. This role plays an important part in ensuring smooth daily operations and team efficiency.

Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Location: Quesnel, BC

Pay Range: $25.40-27.60

Shift: Full-Time Permanent Shift

What's the Job?

  • Oversee daily store operations ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
  • Engage in daily heavy lifting and warehouse related tasks
  • Assist with visual merchandising, stock shelving, and managing shipments
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve complex issues effectively
  • Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and perform cash management duties as needed
