Job Summary :
The Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) of the Real Property Division is accountable for ensuring government facilities infrastructure and service delivery models align with their vision and priorities, as well as client business needs. Responsibilities include all aspects of facility management and developing strong relationships with ministry and broader public sector clients, private sector real estate organizations, and professional bodies.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, people-focused senior leader who thrives under demanding work challenges, with proven ability to lead large operations involving a diverse staff, budget, and complex stakeholder relationships.
This candidate will possess a high level of business acumen with a strong focus on the complex fiscal considerations of the division, consistently modeling diplomacy, tact, and good judgment. They will create a results-focused, high-performance, client-centric culture that inspires their team. A data-driven and decisive decision-maker, the candidate must also be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex issues to ministers, senior executives, and stakeholders.
