BMO is currently sourcing for an Oracle Techno Functional Consultant to support the Procurement team. This is a hybrid contract role in Toronto (4 days in office per week).
Role Overview:
The Oracle Techno Functional Consultant will support invoice processing for suppliers and work with complex information systems to develop or modify existing systems based on business and user needs. This role acts as a liaison between the business and Technology & Operations, providing subject matter expertise and managing initiatives to achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder technology needs.
- Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of technology solutions to the assigned business/group.
- Support production, system enhancements, product upgrades, and development within the business.
- Align business and technology needs with the IT transformation agenda.
- Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations for strategic problems.
- Track metrics and milestones, recommending resolutions and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Research and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with Project Life Cycle methodology.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with Oracle Financials including GL, AP, FA, and TCA modules.
- Proficient in Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, SQL & PL/SQL, and XML Publisher.
- Skilled in CEMLI’s to extend application functionality as per business needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with facilitation experience.
Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrates knowledge in cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, and quantification methodologies.
- Exhibits experience in interviewing, data modeling, business process modeling, and user interface design.
- Familiarity with COUPA P2P Modules such as Procure-to-Invoice and Expenses is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong coordination with a team.
