Provide nutrition counseling and develop individualized dietary plans for patients with endocrinological conditions such as diabetes, dyslipidemia, pcos, prediabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, and metabolic syndrome.
Collaborate with the endocrinologist and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans for patients.
Conduct virtual consultations and follow-up visits with patients to monitor progress, adjust dietary recommendations, and provide ongoing support.
Educate patients about the role of nutrition in managing chronic conditions and improving overall health.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for insurance reimbursement purposes.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
Registered Dietitian (RD) designation with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
Experience working with patients who have chronic conditions, particularly diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic health, is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Comfort and experience with virtual consultations.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
Payment Structure :
Reimbursement for services provided will be through third-party insurance.
